We at Fermented Treasures believe that purchasing over the Internet is very secure and the very number of businesses now accepting orders via the Internet supports this. However, to insure your information is secure, we use only the most secure ordering methods. This involves SSL, which is a technology that encrypts your credit card information during the ordering process.
Also, we at Fermented Treasures do not store any of your credit card information on our Internet servers. Therefore, repeat customers must re-enter their credit card number every time they reorder. We feel this is necessary to insure that all transactions are as secure as possible.
For those U.S. customers who do not wish to use a credit card, we do take U.S. postal money orders made out to Fermented Treasures; no checks please, they will be returned and no other type of money order. WE SHIP FAST
We ship NEXT BUSINESS DAY, Monday-Friday. Although we ship fast, we retain the right to ship within 30 days of order in case of delays caused by any unforeseen event. Also for all international orders and domestic orders sent by U.S. first-class mail allow up to 30 days for receipt of order because, while rare, lengthy postal and custom delays can occur.
Inactive cultures “powders and dry cultures” are shipped Monday-Friday, usually within 24- hours of receipt. Activated cultures “fresh sourdough cultures” are shipped USPS 3-4 day priority mail Monday-Wednesday. Orders for fresh cultures received on Wednesdays may ship the following Monday. To help ensure your order arrives in peak condition, all fresh orders are shipped in insulated shipping bags with ice/heat packs year-round. Your order confirmation is your receipt and your assurance that your order will be processed. No other confirmation will be sent. U.S. customers, who have not received an order shipped USPS 3-4 day priority mail after ten business days, please inquire.
Domestic Orders
1.) Orders totaling $47.00 or less are shipped standard USPS first class airmail.
2.) Orders greater than $47.00 USD are shipped USPS 3-4 day priority mail.
3.) Orders containing activated sourdough cultures are shipped USPS 3-4 day priority mail.
International Orders
1.) Orders totaling $47.00 USD or less are shipped by standard International 1st class Air.
2.) Orders greater than $47.00 USD are shipped internationally via 4-6 day global priority mail to countries serviced by USPS, otherwise by standard International 1st class Air

Because we sell consumable products that once out of our control are subject to damage and misuse, all sales are final. Buyer assumes all risk. No returns, no refunds, no guarantees, no cancellations, no replacements. Not responsible for failed delivery if sent to the correct address of record. Any item returned as undeliverable will be held for 10 business days then discarded as abandoned if unclaimed and/or re-shipping and handling charges are unpaid. You are presumed to be familiar with the terms of sale and in agreement with it as a binding condition of sale.
